December 2022 saw the Horse & Jockey Hotel join ALH Hotels. Situated in the Southern Downs region of QLD in the town of Warwick (Githabul People), the Horse & Jockey is a quintessential local pub. There are plenty of drinks on offer, quality pub food and friendly staff that are warm and welcoming from the moment you step inside. And for visitors to Warwick, there are 32 guest rooms available offering convenient and affordable accommodation.
For those not familiar with the area, Warwick is located approximately 130 km west of Brisbane and has some of Queensland’s finest original sandstone buildings. The town is known for its roses and rodeo, and in the neighbouring town of Allora you can find the heritage-listed building that was once home to PL Travers, the author of Mary Poppins.
