Quite simply, our pubs rocked for Ausmusic T-Shirt Day on 18 November. Teams across the country donned their favourite Australian muso tee and raised over $12,500 for Support Act, a charity foundation that offers crisis relief services to musicians, managers, crew and music workers who are facing hardship and are unable to work.
After the industry took a huge hit over the last few years due to the pandemic, music industry professionals have been struggling in a number of ways, and Support Act is there to provide human and financial services to those affected. With many of our venues offering live music, Support Act is a charity that really hits home.
Featuring most of our venues, Live At Your Local offers one destination for people to easily find gigs at a local pub or music venue. Plus, news articles keep fans up-to-date on their favourite artists, what they’re doing and when they’re on tour. We love live music and are so proud of our teams for raising funds to go back into the music industry.
